Happy New Year

My main resolutions had to wait until after 8 January as I was fortunate enough to have a winter break in St Wolfgang, Austria. A great resort, especially for a non-skier like me. The weather was great for the first few days, bitterly cold but sunny! I have posted a couple of images;a shot looking towards St Wolfgang over the lake (Wolfgangsee); another one of the church with mountains in the background, and a very tame Robin I saw when I visited Saltzburg.

I know the weather is not great for most people but I am sure I am not alone in thinking that the snow and frost creates great opportunities for picture taking. Last week I visited Baddesley Clinton, as National Trust house and took a few snaps. Others can be found via the flicker link

I have been passionate about photography for many years, whether photographing my boys playing rugby or capturing family images for posterity. The website is in its infancy and I seek any constructive comment to ensure it meets the expectations of the viewer.

This is the first of, I hope, many posts.
